The Problem Solving Assessment has been designed to improve the Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Creative thinking, Decision Making and Communication skills in learners. It is widely accepted that these are the abilities that an individual needs to be successful in their Personal, Professional and Social life. With the intension of fostering these abilities in learners at very early age, we have introduced PSA for classes VI to X from the academic session 2014-15.

A large number of schools across the country enrolled the students of classes VI to X for problem solving assessment for the academic session 2014 -15. It is encouraging to learn from the schools that the students of classes IX and X who took our PSA examination appeared ‘CBSE- PSA’ with confidence and performed extremely well. They have scored better grades in the board’s PSA examination.

We are extremely happy to share that most of the schools used PSA marks in Formative Assessment-4 for classes VI to VIII. It has not only brought down the number of activities for Formative Assessment cycle but also helped to assess the abilities of students at National level.

The overwhelming responses for PSA from schools all over the country encourage us to continue our venture to explore and nurture the problem solving skills in learners. The registration for PSA 2015-16 is started. We are confident that you will enroll all the students of Classes VI to X for PSA for the session 2015-16.
